Executive Summaries...

We do have the intention to publish more information about tickerTXT, our ambitions and our plans. It is more for lack of time than secrecy that info is still so scarce :-) Until then to know more about us please just send us a mail and we will come back to you asap. The executive summary is in English, we have just released a brief overview in German, the French exposé will follow shortly.

Winning Seedcamp Berlin 2008 :-)

YESSS. We won the friendly competition of startup presentations, the Mini-Seedcamp Berlin on the 20 June 2008. tickerTXT therefore is directly qualified for the 4 day Seedcamp mid September in London. Congratulations to toksta and mixxt for 2nd and 3rd place.

We would like to thank the organisers of the Seedcamp event in particular Oliver Beste (FoundersLink) and who also runs the OpenCoffeeClub Berlin (see Upcoming ), Stephanie Zari and Reshma Sohoni (both of Seedcamp) who are unbelievably fast responding to emails :-)

We would also like to send a big hug and thanks to Susanne Steiner who was a great help to Undine and Moritz preparing for the event (if you seek great advice as a starting entrepreneur, look no further).

Last, but not least, we greatly appreciated all the support and positive reactions that the tickerTXT project received from all participants, startups, entrepreneurs and investors during the event. And to Saul Klein for creating Seedcamp and OpenCoffeeClub and being the host of the event in Berlin :-) ...

Here are some articles and blog posts regarding the event.

Updates on tickerTXT

We took a bit longer than planned to start the site, better late than never :-) tickerTXT.org will start as a blog and then morph into something bigger.

First we will keep you up to date about what has happenede since that post, and there is quite a bit. We will also add bit by bit more about our plans, the next steps and our ambitions.

As this is a blog, either check out regularly this place or simply subscribe to the blog using the RSS feed.

Some of the technical decisions we made and tools we use are described over at the qompute.net blog, which Andy, a few friends and myself have used for quite some time to write about technology related topics.

Thanks for being so patient :-)
